Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Orangeburg, SC

We choose this hotel and paid a premium over the other nearby choices because we have liked all the other Country Inns we've stayed at. Well, it turns out the management has a lot to do with the quality of your stay and the management at this location is sadly lacking. To start, the room we were given was not made up. We arrived at 5:00 pm. We opened the door to a dirty bathroom and unmade beds. Not nice. There just didn't seem to be any commitment to the details at this hotel. It didn't feel clean, floor mats were askew and backwards, and I got the sense of a disinterested staff. On top of this, the walls must be made of paper as we were sure people were in our bathroom, but we're actually upstairs or next door.
