My wife and I moved to Summerville, SC in January of 2015 and bought a very ordinary house with a less than ordinary kitchen. We had talked about replacing it and 2017 became the year. We met the people from Welcom Cabinets at a Home and Garden Expo at the Exchange Park and were impressed with both the people and the exhibits they displayed. The next week we met with them at their office and they worked with us to help choose the style of the cabinets and countertops, as well as to create a more efficient kitchen layout. The whole process was easier than we had expected.
It was several weeks before everything arrived at their shop and they were ready to install our kitchen. In just one day they had the old cabinets and countertops out and in our garage. This was not the "sledge hammer" demolition that you see on television. The cabinets were carefully taken down so they could be donated to Habitat for Humanity. The next day they had all of the necessary electrical rewiring done and the new cabinets in. In all it took just five days to complete our kitchen with two additional half days for the plumber and painters.
We were amazed by how quickly and efficiently the crew worked. Each day they would arrive a little before nine and they worked steadily until after four. No smoke breaks, no going out for parts, no phone breaks, they did not even stop for lunch. Their workmanship was outstanding, right down to minute trim details. Their subcontractors (laminate countertops, plumbing, and painting) were equally impressive. We could not be more pleased with our new kitchen, and we highly recommend Welcom Cabinets.
