Let's start with the good. This park is beautiful. Well maintained. Staff wonderful. Camp sites we're very well maintained. Love the area. Now the bad. The interstate is very close. So you hear nonstop truck and car traffic 24/7! No quiet at all. My particular little cove was so noisy some coons came in and made breakfast for me and the Misses. Not complaining but they had 3 courses. Fishing stunk. I tried it all spinner this spoon that crank baits, worms. I could not catch anything. I know it's called fishing not catching. I get it. Over all it was nice. But I live at the beach and it was not worth the nearly five hour drive. Sorry. I love most of our state parks. This one is a one and done for me.
