This place is aging a bit, but the caretakers and new owners seem to be doing everything they can to keep it up.
I found it quaint I love being here a great romantic getaway a great place to explore nature it's an out-of-the-way place so be prepared for a short drive if you wish to go purchase anything in town it is near many historic sites in the mountains there are civil war graveyards there are historic Bridges many things relating to Historic Tennessee near here beautiful Mountain View's almost no traffic at all very quiet very safe for kids just be careful of bears during the summer the police presence was very nice here I felt very safe and only one week staying here I saw the police Cruz through on two separate occasions just to check on everyone safety they have great pool clean locker room beautiful wooded property great game rooms great common area I met a lot of nice people overall this is a great place to get away from it all in the mountains
