I have lived in Anderson for 14 years, and this place has been here for as long as I can remember, yet, regrettably, this was my first visit. I had always heard my friends talk about this place but I never got around to it, but now let's get to the nitty gritty.
First off, the place is spotless, well managed, and the staff is very friendly, 5/5
Secondly, the baked goods were in great quantity and looked nice (although I could only testify as to the taste of a small slice of chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, which was only OK, the lemon bar, red velvet cookie, and cream cheese brownie) the taste was pretty much on par, 5/5.
Third, the sandwiches were really nice in variety, my friend got the hero which he loved and I got the turkey club on whole wheat (which was toasted to perfection) with Mayo, honey mustard, bacon, tomato, and lettuce (effectively throwing health out the window) the turkey had amazing flavor and the bacon was crispy and nicely cooked (a pet peeve of mine, undercooked bacon) the tomatoes were fresh and the lettuce wasn't wilted (another pet peeve, wilted lettuce) it came with plain Lay's but the also had a couple other choices for a $1.00 (or so) upcharge.
All in all, probably the best (and basically only) real deli/bakery in Anderson, loving it!
