I have never written a Google review because I have never been upset enough to do so, until now. I have had a business account with South State for 3 years, and a personal account with them since they switched from First Federal to South State. I have never had any problems with the bank itself. I am just now realizing that the branch manager at the Ashley Ave. location (Tiffany Herr) has made unauthorized changes to my account and never notified me of these changes. These changes have cost me several hundred dollars in fees. This is bad business, and may very well be illegal. I have made several phone calls to report this issue, and seem to get nowhere. Hopefully, this review will have someone look in on Tiffany to make sure she has not done this to anyone else. I definitely would recommend using South State Bank for all of your business needs, just not this location while Tiffany Herr is the branch manager.
