I used this dentist office over year ago and they over charged each time I went. I was on a periodentol cleanings every 4 months. When i got verification from insurance I asked for my overpayments back and they told me they would have to request it and mail me the money back. Funny how I had to hand money over each visit but they could not hand it back. I waited and called a few times but finally got the money back. Since insurance has changed and I could only afford for regular 6 month cleanings per my insurance and they were on the insurance in-network i figured I would go there since I had no money they could charge. Called and asked about them being in-network, told them I would only want 6 months regular cleaning with once a year bitewing xrays. Gave me appt, , went in and had regular cleaning and bite wing xrays. Hygienist kept trying to get me to go back to the 4 month periodontal cleanings (what is the "I can't afford it" they don't understand). Now I get my insurance confirmation saying I owe them above the payment they made to them an additional $80 because of the periodontal cleaning....WHAT???? I GOT NO PERIODONTAL CLEANING. Wonder why seniors do not go to dentists......cannot afford to add a bill when you are stretching the $1000 monthly social security income.
