I have been trying to find the best sushi in Charleston. After reading about Kanpai online, I decided to try it. I stopped in on a Thursday at 5:30 to order sushi take out. There were only two tables occupied in the restaurant. The hostess who took my order for two told me it would be at least a 45 minute wait after I placed my order and they brought me the bill. No thanks, I wouldn't wait 45+ minutes for sushi if I were dining in either. Also, the prices seem high.
