Horrible service! The company subcontracts their work out to technicians and does not take responsibility for the poor customer service of the techs. I have been dealing with the technician (John Jackson) for a month and half! now for a simple refrigerator repair. It is still not fixed. He doesn't return phone calls/texts, doesn't show up to scheduled appointments and doesn't complete repairs. Avoid this company. I ended up having to call 123 Appliance Repair to finish the job.
A technician came to my home and put his bag of tools on the floor he looked at my refrigerator and said I needed a new compressor a $900 repair he proceeded to write me an estimate which included grossly inflated prices for parts I advised the technician I would order the parts from Sears myself and call him in a week when they get in to come and repair the refrigerator in the meantime I had a Sears technician come out and look at my refrigerator he verified there is nothing wrong with the compressor at all it was an internal refrigerant leak he fixed it for $342 I had to send back the parts the Fort Mill technician told me I need it I was very upset because he didn't take the time to diagnose the problem correctly had I not gotten a second opinion I would have made $968.00 mistake by letting him fix a part that wasn't broken I call to voice my complaints and advise them I wanted my money back they did not acknowledge the complaint but said they would send the money I've never received a check and they will not take my calls at this point I now believe that they use the name "Fort Mill" to earn instant credibility because they are not honest people and they do a very poor job I would suggest that you go with a different company if you don't want to make a costly mistake
They wanted a credit card when I made the appt I said no, I would pay when they finished the work. I was quoted $59.99 and then when they were here they said because I did not give them a credit card when I made the appt my charge including tax was $80.44. I was never told it would be anything other than $59.99. When I called to ask them about it the lady was so rude. My "quote" to repair a washing machine that they told me was 15 years old was $952.40. Wow!! what a racket. They are not local and totally misrepresented the entire transaction.
