I currently have no water coming into my house due to some sort of frozen pipe. I was assured in November by the builder that I shouldn’t worry about this and leaving the faucet dripping was unnecessary. Today we woke up with no water, and I was advised at 6:30AM to call the emergency plumber (Dupree plumbing). I was told by the plumber that the main line was frozen and it was not an issue he would fix. I called SJWD who promptly came out and showed me that in fact the it was a DR Horton issue and the pipes aren’t properly insulated. I’ve never gotten a return phone call from ANYONE with DR Horton today. The only person I spoke with was Dylan at the model house who was no help in putting me in contact with anyone. Princess Collins at the warranty department has NEVER called me back or emailed me promptly regarding any issue I’ve had. The builder has ignored 3 different people allegedly asking him to call me. I realize there’s little they can do NOW to unfreeze the pipes but I want someone to call me about a long term solution immediately.
