After having trouble with another local eye doctor who, despite my insisting my prescription was fine, changed it to one that really didn't work (and scared me into seeing my physician after telling me I might have diabtetes. I called Dr. Carter for an appointment. It turned out to be a very good decision. She was extremely professional and her equipment and office were impressive, clean and relaxing. She was also very friendly and seemed genuinely intent on getting my prescription right. Of course she did get it right, and made my job as a merchant mariner far easier.
