Days Inn by Wyndham Summerton

We stopped here to get a little sleep on the way home driving from FL to VA. Being the last weekend of spring break, it was the ONLY place with an available room. Luckily they had a non-smoking room cancel. It was close to 2am by the time we stopped. The front desk clerk that was working at that time and the one the next morning we’re both super sweet. That’s where the positives stopped. The room was extremely old and ran down, there was a huge hole in the Sheetrock in the bathroom, the ceiling in the bathroom was damaged and pealing from a recent leak, the bathtub had 2 inches of water in it and continued to drip all night, the water continued to rise when you flushed the toilet to the point of almost overflowing.. So much for a peaceful nights rest and a shower before getting back on the road. We were already iffy about staying there, this just confirms that I would NEVER return to a Days Inn or anything similar. Available or not. I’d sleep at a rest stop before I stopped in one of these again.

Very clean !!!!!! That's a plus in my book. The staff was friendly and helpful... What more can you ask..
