The Carriage House

My family and I had dinner there last night and we LOVED IT!! The staff was friendly and our server, Will, was knowledgeable and always on top of everything (i.e. food status, drink refills, etc.). We all decies to order different item, as to get a better idea of how the quality of the food is overall. So we started out with half shell oysters. They were seasoned beautifully and grilled, which didn't have affect on the taste, which was delicious. We also had Alligator as an appetizer, yes ALLIGATOR. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by them. They tasted a lot like calamari, but better because it's not as chewy, and the sauce they proved for dipping was sublime. We then received our salads, which were perfectly sized and well dressed. For the main course we had Fettuccine and Shrimp, the Ribey, and The Perkins. The Fettuccine was delicious with a good ratio of shrimp to noodles. The Ribey was wonderfully seasoned and cooked exceptionally, very tender, with a nice crunch on the outside. Finally, The Perkins is a good sized seafood platter, with Salmon, shrimp, and crab meat, served over rice (optional). The was cooked to perfection, a light sear on the top and pink in the center. The shrimp and crab on top were also very delicious. Overall a wonderful experience, with a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.

Im not sure how this place has such good reviews on Facebook. I sorry to be so negative but their food is not good.
