This is the worst, most poorly managed grocery store that I've ever been to in the United States. They're routinely understocked, and if there's a "Buy this many for this price" (say 5 for $11 on seltzer water, to be exact), and THEY'RE understocked, and don't even have 5 of the item to sell to you, the manager will refuse to give you a rain check, and will refuse to honor the sale price. The checkout staff will have personal conversations with the people they're checking out when there's a line, and the manager gets an attitude and tells you "Patience is a virtue" when you complain. The manager and staff will refuse to honor advertised sales unless they've put signs up for the sale in their store (even when shown the ad).
My wife and I have each left the store without our groceries multiple times because the manager herself has made each of us so angry with her idiotic (some, illegal, involving false advertisement) policies. Not the staff, the manager. I've actually left the store more times than I've purchased groceries. The store owner needs to fire this store's manager immediately. There is no place in the work force for her, let alone in management. My infant would make a better manager, and is probably more intelligent.
I will not return to this store until and unless I learn that this manager has been let go.
